There are some big developments underway.
And we’re looking forward to letting you know all about them soon.
In our recent “Reset and Planning” Blogging Workshop, we talked about revamping your blog, taking stock of what is working (and doing more of that!), what isn’t connecting (so, less of that), and what needs a facelift. (If you missed the workshop, you can watch the replay here.)
We want to practice what we teach, so, along those lines, we have been looking at ways to transform and expand the whole WordPress.com Courses experience.
We talk a lot about goals in our courses and communities. Our goal has always been to provide you with a supportive environment and inspiring instruction in order to facilitate your work. Because what matters is you, our students, and we want to make sure that as content creators you’re getting the best possible WordPress.com education.
As you know, we haven’t been shy about making changes based on your feedback and where we’ve seen issues. But now, we want to ramp it up to a whole other level.
What does that mean?
- Rethinking how we organize our community and connect you with more creators
- Growing the information available to you: more training, more support, more everything
- Improving our class resources: We don’t want to only support you when you start, we want to support you as you continue to build your project
So, we are working on some big changes that you’re going to be pleasantly surprised by. We’ll keep you up-to-date. And, as always, if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, let us know in the comments.
